Baptism and Gifts at youth event

This is a post shared from social media, thus short and sweet!

We all felt the cold in that barn, but we also felt the Holy Spirit’s fire! I was privileged to have an awesome team with me this weekend at Canby Grove. Thanks Amy Antony, @davismarie, @heatherbisenius, Brad and Jessica, Josh and Taylor for risking with me to give prophetic words and pray for youth to be filled with the Spirit (Eph 5:18, Luke 11:13). One kid was overheard saying, “It’s like they have video cameras on us (they know so much about us)!” I heard one of our team members give a word that included how many siblings someone had. The fact that one sibling was a Christian and one was not. The fact that they have always wanted to work or do business together (apparently they have always dreamed of starting a bakery together). A specific word about one of their dreams they felt stuck with! And some words about promises yet to come! Wow! There was another kid who told their leader that our team said everything in our prayers for them that they have been praying to God about! 🔥One of my other favorite things was a leader speaking in tongues for the first time even though we didn’t pray or minister for that specifically! In short, when God shows up you should expect to experience the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit! What a joy to give Him space to move! #workingforjoy #becauseHeisgood

At Workers for Joy our mission statement includes the 3 P’s of prophecy, power, and purpose. We feel the called to express the love of God in these ways and are excited every time we see the Holy Spirit using us towards this end. Each testimony we share is intended to bring glory to Jesus and share part of our ministry's unique DNA that we believe was a gift from God. If you have been impacted by our ministry, or want to honor Jesus in these areas yourself, would you consider partnering with us as we work for joy?
